Both the harvest of the bunches and the selection of the best grapes, were made manually on specially aconditioned selection tables, to choose only the best of our grapes.
The fermentation was carried out in micro-fermentation stainless steel tanks at temperatures between 26°C and 28°C, for 7 days and 30 days of macera-tion. Then it is aged in barrels for 18 months and finally bottled.
100% of the blend is aged in French oak barrels, first use, during18 months. After that, is bottled adn cellared for another 12 monts.
Can be enjoyed immediately or stored in bottle for 15 years.
This wine is positioning our vineyards and oenology among the best exponents of Chile. To achieve this, we have carefully looked at each stage of the process. The work in the vineyard, the selection of the grapes, the aging on French barrels and the final blend, before the patient cellaring in the bottle.
The origin of Solares, comes from a meticulous selection of the very best batches produced in La Ronciere. It has a deep color, elegance, freshness and silky aromas, with intense notes of cherries, truffles and black fruits. In the mouth, the volume, roundness and long finish are simply outstanding.
