Licantén Cabernet Franc
The grapes come from our vineyard Idahue, located in Licantén, 25 km. from the Pacific Ocean and next to the Mataquito River. A handpicked harvest and a later selection of the best bunches was carried out. WINEMAKING
The fermentation was carried out in micro-fermentation tanks, in ranges of 26 ° C and 28 ° C for seven days, and then continued with a maceration process for another 30 days. Finally, it was stored in French oak barrels for 10 months and then bottled.
100% of the blend is aged in French oak barrels, first use, during 10 months. Then is bottled.
Can be enjoyed immediately or stored in bottle for 10 years.
The Licantén line is the soul of our field on the coast of Curicó area. Each year, we select the best micro-parcels These wines will have a main varietal grape but can be also blended with other grapes in small proportion, to deliver outstanding sensations.
Wonderful wine that shows black fruits such as cherries, strawberries, plums and dried figs. The palate is juicy, fresh, tasty and round, with a balanced natural acidity. It is a generous wine with great aging potential.
